State Owned Enterprises
How can I get a list of state owned enterprises

In Orbis:

  1. From the initial companies page, mouse over Ownership Data and then  Companies owned by an Ultimate Owner, and then Characteristics of their Ultimate Owner.
  2. Click on the tab State-Owned Enterprises and then specify the percent of ownership desired.
  3. Specify the given country or region.
  4. Click on View list of results.
  5. You can change the display of the list by clicking on
  6. The results can be exported.

In OneSource:

  1. Under the Companies icon, click on Build a list.
  2. Choose your geography from the horizontal tabs
  3. Under Ownership click on State owned.  Add any additional criteria desired.
  4. Click on Run search near the bottom of the screen.
  5. At the top of the criteria screen the number of results will be displayed.  You can view the results, modify the display and export the list.

Prowess also allows screening for state owned enterprises in India.  See instruction sheet.
