Historical interest rates

How do I find information on historical interest rates for the U.S. and worldwide?

Use the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve H.15 Release

In Global Financial Data, select "GFDatabase".  Use the GFD Filter Search on the left navigation to choose your country or region.  Under Series Group select "Fixed Income" and under Series Type select the specific rate type.

In IMF eLibrary, select “Concept” from the “Query Across Datasets” menu.  Select “Financial Indicators” and navigate to “Interest Rates” to add specific interest rates to your query.  Results can be further limited by Country/Region and by Date.
