To get an overview of a company, executives, recent activities and strategies use these databases:

Capital IQ

  • Quickly gain a holistic understanding of any company or firm including competitive landscape, transaction history, third-party affiliations, key people and their backgrounds, etc.
  • Identify and understand the nature of company-to-company, person-to-person relationship connections based on events, transactions, and affiliations

Orbis

  • Global company databases unique in its breadth of geographies and extent of companies covered
  • Some private company financials available (depending on the country of incorporation)
  • Extensive company information including location of subsidiaries

Factiva

  • Scan for the latest news on the company, and/or particular executives, products, deals, etc.
