Private wealth management

Where can I find statistics and information on private wealth management firms?

 For an overview on private wealth management firms use FirstHand(Vault) (registration required).

  • Private Wealth Magazine offers articles and special sections on real estate, alternative investments and other areas of interest.
  • Preqin includes information and data on private wealth managers who invest in private equity. 
    • Click on Private Equity
    • Click on Investor 
    • Click on Search by Type/Location.  Select Wealth Manager under Institutional Private Wealth. 
  • Barrons Top Wealth Management Teams includes a ranking of the top 50 wealth management teams in the United States.
  • Locate analyst reports in LSEG Workspace
    • Click on the Research tab, and select Advanced Research.  
    • In the Keyword Search box, search for "private wealth management" in the title and/or text of the document; For a multimedia learning module on LSEG Workspace check out our Learn with Baker Library LSEG Workspace Introduction.
  • The Journal of Wealth Management can be found in the IPR Journals database. Click on the journals tab and select the title from the list.  You can also do a search by publication.
