Where can I find U.S. demographic information broken out by ethnic group?

  • U.S. Census Bureau:
    Population, housing, economic and geographic information searchable by race and ethnicity. The American Community Survey has quick links to data broken out by age, race/ethnicity, language and more.
     
  • Mintel
    Mouse over Category Overview > Demographic > Multicultural for reports and data points.
     
  • SimplyAnalytics
    Enables creation of maps and tables for the United States that incorporate data such as population, age, race, income, employment, and education.
     
  • Market Segmentation: ETHNICITY from the Library of Congress:
    Research guide focusing on African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American/American Indian demographic and marketing resources.
