Where can I find statistical data for China?


A.

CEIC Data: macroeconomic, industrial, and financial time series for China and a select number of other countries.  Some Chinese data series are available at the province level.

National Population Census of China (NPCC): Chinese Census database

China Data Online: provides monthly and annual data on the economy at the national, provincial, and county levels from the National Bureau of Statistics of the People's Republic of China in English. Data on industries goes back to 2001.

EMIS: includes country profiles; macroeconomic statistics, forecasts, and analysis; reports on financial markets, companies, and industries; exchange rates; analyst reports; and business news.
