Q.
S1 registrations

Where can I find an S1 registration?

A.

S1 registrations, filed when companies plan on going public/registering with the SEC, can be found in most of our databases which include filings.

Finding Individual Company S1s:

Capital IQ:

From the  left-hand navigation of the company overview page, scroll to News, Events & Filings, and select SEC filings.  On the subsequent page, click Prospectuses (S-1). For a multimedia learning module on Capital IQ check out our Learn with Baker Library Capital IQ Introduction.

Finding S1s filed within a particular time frame:

LSEG Workspace:

  • Click on the Filings & Events tab and select Advanced Filings.
  • Enter date range.
  • Under Categories start typing in “S-1” and make your selections.
  • Add other filters as desired.

Workspace is also useful for locating individual findings from the 1990s not found in Capital IQ. For a multimedia learning module on LSEG Workspace check out our Learn with Baker Library LSEG Workspace Introduction.

You also can request that the library search on Intelligize for these filings and related items.
