Corporate venture capital subsidiaries: how to identify

How can I find which firms have corporate venture capital subsidiaries?


A.
  • Capital IQ allows you to create a list of corporate venture capital subsidiaries.
    • Select Screening and click Company Screening  
    • Under Company Details select Company Type
    • Select Corporate Investment Arm and click Update
    • Under Investment/Advisory Firms select Investment Firm Type 
    • Select PE/VC and PE/VC (fundless) and click Update
       
  • Pitchbook allows screening on corporate VCs as well.  
    • Click Investors and select Investor Type
    • Under Venture Capital select Corporate Venture Capital
  • CB Insights allows search by Investor Type, Corporation and other criteria.
     
  • The National Venture Capital Association has a special interest section on corporate venture capital
