Where do I find current news about a company or industry?

The following databases aggregate articles from news and trade publications and can be used to search for news on companies and industries.

  • ABI/ProQuest: contains full-text articles from over 500 publications. Go to browse than choose company or industry.
  • Bloomberg.com: contains the complete content of Bloomberg.com including global business news, daily and weekly newsletters, podcasts, and the full text of Bloomberg Businessweek.
  • Business Source Complete: contains articles from academic journals, magazines, and trade publications. Go to 
  • Factiva: Aggregates news from thousands of national and local newspapers, magazines, trade publications and transcripts. Search by company name or use the Companies/Markets search tab at the top of the screen.
  • Nexis Uni: features more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources from LexisNexis.
  • The Information: Tech IPO Tracker, VC Diversity Index, Crypto Power List and major technology company Org Charts
