Q.
Databases: searching in native languages

Which databases allow me to search in other languages?

A.
  • Factiva
    • Click the plus sign (>) next to Language
    • Select a specific language, then conduct a search.
    • To change the language of the interface select the gear icon.
    • Select Language and from drop down menu then choose a new language.
    •  If the Languages option is set to All, language codes can be used in the free-text search box to limit searches to specific language(s). This can be done using the language field tag, la=. For example, searching la=bg would limit your search to sources written in Bulgarian.
