Q.
Bloomberg: dead corporate bonds
How do I find dead corporate bonds in Bloomberg?

A.

In Bloomberg matured bonds are accessed through the Related Securities screen for a security .

To get to a Related Securities screen:

  1. From an [Equity] screen type RELS then press [GO].
  2. On the Related Securities screen, select Bonds & Generic Tickers.
  3. Screen will refresh with a list of all the bonds for that company that have ever appeared in Bloomberg.
  4. Click the highlighted link for Excluded bonds and uncheck Matured/Called to see dead corporate bonds.
