Q.
Bloomberg: short interest by company
How can I find short interest by company in Bloomberg?

A.

Type company ticker, hit EQUITY key, type SI and then hit GO for basic short interest data; e.g.,

  • GOOG US [EQUITY] SI [GO]

For graphical data displays, use PgUp and PgDn to view tabular data.

Short interest data is generally released on a monthly basis. Type DOCS to use the Keyword Search function and enter Short Interest Release for current information.
