Bloomberg: real estate information
How do I get real estate information in Bloomberg?
A.

Type BI REAL and hit GO for the Bloomberg Intelligence Real Estate dashboard containing industry data and news for Europe and Asia-Pacific markets.

  • Real Estate Indices
    1. In the BI Real Estate dashboard click on Company in the left side menu to see financials for companies in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Right-click an index and select DES to go to the company's landing page.
    2. Another option is to type SECF <GO> to use the Security Finder to find indices by keyword.
  • Search for REITs
    1. Type REIT and hit GO.
    2. Select a region.
    3. Follow menus and screen instructions to add more criteria and to see results.
  • Global Property Research Menu
    1. Type GPRI and hit GO.
    2. Select menu options for pricing and risk/return profiles for property share indices worldwide.
