Delisted securities: prices

Where can I find daily stock price data for delisted securities?


A.

US and non-US Stock price data for delisted securities can be found in the following databases:

  • LSEG Workspace
    1. Enter a company name or ticker in the main search bar and select the appropriate company to load the company overview page.
    2. Hover over the Price Charts tab and select Price History.

  • Datastream
    1. Open Excel and select the Refinitiv tab.
    2. From the Refinitv menu, select Datastream Formula. This will open the Datastream Formula Builder.
    3. Under Category select Equities from the drop-down list
    4. Select the funnel icon (find series)  beside the Explorer window to launch Datastream Navigator.
    5. Enter your security in the explorer window and hit 'search'.
    6. From the left-hand menu, under Activity, select Dead.
    7. Select the correct security (if more than one is listed).
    8. Select the price-trade graph from the profile, and then choose the excel icon to download the data.
