Q.
Sovereign funds

Where can I find information on sovereign funds?

A.
  • In Capital IQ:
    1. Mouse over Screening and click on All Idea Generation Screens.
    2. In the grey box at the top, click on Companies and then scroll down the new results menu below and select Sovereign Wealth Fund.  Add criteria to run search.

  • In Preqin
    1. Make sure you are logged into Preqin Pro (see link in top banner if in regular Preqin)
    2. Click on Search For tab on the menu bar, then select Investors.
    3. Expand Investor Type in the top menu bar and check Sovereign Wealth Fund.
    4. Select Geography or other filters if desired.

  • Search Business Source Complete, ABI/ProQuest or Factiva to find academic and news articles on sovereign wealth funds. Use the keywords sovereign wealth funds and limit the search to the subject or abstract field.  To narrow the search by location, add a geographic area (e.g., Singapore or Middle East) to the search.

  • Search HOLLIS for books and/or more materials --  You may begin with keyword: sovereign wealth funds. You may further refine the search by using the categories in the "Refine My Result" column.
