Where can I find market maps for various industries?
A.
Market mapping is the process of visually organizing information about various competitors in a specific industry or vertical to understand their positions and identify potential market trends.
Pitchbook Market Maps:
- Find Market Maps in the left-hand navigation Menu
- Click on Market Maps
- Search by keyword or browse by clicking View All Market Maps
- Click on a Market Map to drill down to segments and explore companies
Custom Market Map from a Pitchbook Company Screen:
- Click on Companies & Deals under Screeners to start a company screen
- After adding all desired criteria, click Segment with Market Maps from the results list
- Under the Transactions & Private Equity menu, click Market Maps
