What are the news resources for biotech, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals industries?

The following databases provides news related to all three industries:

You may begin with:

  • Informa - The database consists publications of In Vivo, MedTech Insight, and Scrip). Provides proprietary news articles and analysis on medical technologies, biopharm, and diagnostic industries as well as profiles of leading-edge companies/startups in the above industries.
  • Stat Plus - News and ananlsis on healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotech industries including policy and science developments, and overview of different technologies.
  • Factiva - Covers news from national and local newspapers, magazines, trade publications and transcripts worldwide including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, etc. 

Additionally:

  • HOLLIS Catalog – using Advanced Search function to search with in Title field, after received the search result, may also select Online under Shown Only in the right column of the search result page. Hollis search may help you find journals that is not covered by the above databases, e.g. Pharmacy Time
