Information on companies, deals, funds, investors and service providers across the private investment lifecycle. Individual accounts are required to access, signup here.

Capital IQ
Data on Venture Capital transactions, public and private companies, investment firms, and people. Provides sophisticated retrieval and personalization tools to create numerous reports. You can even set up alerts for new company or firm developments and transactions. Sign up for a personal account here.

Preqin
Information on PE & VC companies, funds and deals.

FactSet
A comprehensive platform used to analyze financial data from global equity and fixed income markets, and public and private companies. Also includes private equity information. Individual accounts needed. Please see More Info page for instructions.

CB Insights & Industry Analytics
CB Insights is a private company database that tracks global venture capital, angel investment, private equity, M&A, and IPO activity related to private companies.​ Note: Individual account required. Alert feature available.

Emerging Markets Information System (EMIS)
Select a country from the list. Using the Industries tab at the top of the page, search for industries. Limiting the search to "Research" will limit the results to recent market, industry and sector reports. Also, a good source for news.

Wall Street Journal - Baker Library is excited to now offer individual accounts to WSJ.com! Sign up for an account here

Business Source Complete - Database that includes industry and academic articles.  You can set up alerts by company name, topic, industry or people. 

Factiva - Good source for company and industry news, includes access to the Wall Street Journal.

Financial Times - Baker Library offers free access to FT.com.  Sign up for an account and you can set up alerts by keyword, industry or company name. 

Private Equity International, Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) and Infrastructure Investor are available in hard copy in the library and via Factiva.  See here for more information on how to access.
