Industry and Market Research

Factiva- Provides reports from TechNavio, a publisher that focuses on emerging technology, including coverage on digital entertainment topics. 

  • Type "TechNavio" in the Sources search box
  • Select TechNavio
  • To focus search, select other filters e.g., keywords in search form, company, industry, date

MarketResearch.com- Reports from several market research firms are available covering health care, consumer goods, publishing, manufacturing and other markets and industries.

  • Type keywords in search bar on top of page 
  • Find reports on certain segments of the publishing sector including: scholarly; trade; and children's markets
  • Alternatively, use "Advanced Search" to limit by date, publisher and/or to use boolean operators 

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage- Industry Surveys cover industry trends, forecasts, major players and market share data, key ratios, and statistics. Select the Industries tab to get a selection of the international industry surveys.

  • Click Industries link
  • Select from the "Industry Surveys" drop down menu. 
  • Industries are listed alphabetically including "Movies and Home Entertainment", "Broadcasting & Cable" and "Publishing and Advertising."
