What library equipment is available for use in Baker Library?

Public Computers

Baker Library has 22 desktop computers available to users in the Stamps Reading Room.  Computers allow Web access as well as Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Printing

Black & White printers are available to users at Baker

  • MBAs: Send print jobs from library computers to MBA Printers.  Charges will be added to your term bill ($0.10 per page, less for double-sided).
  • Other Library Visitors: Send print jobs to Guest Printers. Printing requires payment through HUID or a Crimson Cash card ($0.10 per page, less for double-sided). If you do not have an HUID or Crimson Cash card, please ask library staff for assistance. A Crimson Cash Value Transfer Station (VTS) is located in the basement of Spangler.

Color printing is available to users at Baker

  • There is one color printer available for use by MBA students on the East End of the library.

Printing from laptops:

  • MBAs: Download the HBS/Secure queue to print at Baker and elsewhere on campus from your laptop.  See HBS Printing Options for more info on this and on mobile printing.
  • Other Library Visitors: please use library desktops to print.

Copying & Scanning

  • A B&W copier is available in the Stamps Reading Room Annex (3rd floor).  
  • Two scanners, one flatbed and one overhead book scanner, are also located in the Stamps Reading Room Annex. Scanning is free of charge. 
  • Three microform viewers/scanners are located in the stacks.

Wireless

Wireless networking is available throughout Baker Library. HBS affiliates may select HBS Secure.  Other library visitors may select HBS Guest.
