There are many scientific groups that do land and sea surface temperature analysis through out the world. The following three groups are among the most cited:
- NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP)
- The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NOAA also publishes Global Temperature Trends: 2010 Summation.
- U.K Met Office
Independent of the above is the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature Project. The Project sets out to to do a new analysis of the surface temperature record.
